Donation of soccer balls to Open Arms
Open Arms is a facility that offers shelter, food and education to children. It has foster houses in Manja, Chinyonga, Chitawira, Mangochi and Kabula. They look after just over 100 children and have just about 100 employees.
Donation of soccer balls to Namisimba Orphanage
Soccer balls were donated to Namisimba Orphanage which is situated in Manase and has 140 kids and only 10 teachers.
Donation of soccer balls to Samaritan Trust
Soccer balls were donated to Samaritan Trust which is a Rehabilitation Centre that rescues street kids and shelters them for 2 years. Whilst at the centre, they identify the rescued children’s relatives in order to find a home for the children when they leave. The centre has 52 children and has social workers who work closely with the children.
Donation of soccer balls to Kondanani Children’s Village
Soccer balls were donated to Kondanani’s Children’s Village which is located in Bvumbwe which houses more than 150 children that are either orphaned or abandoned. This facility only takes in infants and is committed to raising them until marriage and putting the children through primary, secondary and tertiary education. On the premises, children have various after school activities like; piano lessons, guitar lessons, horseback riding, swimming and football.
Assistance of blind students at Stella Maris
Stella Maris is a Secondary School located along Chikwawa Road. The school approached NICO Asset Managers for assistance with school fees for some of its blind and deaf students. We presented a cheque to assist with three of the students’ tuition fees and pocket money.
